Coastal Racing Championship 2006
There's a great social side to these family events, with great support and practical advice from club members, often round a barbecue on saturday night! Entry fees are modest and insurance is provided but to help with the cost of competing, teams and driver changes are allowed. Subject to some restrictions, junior drivers are able to compete - so coastal racing makes even more sense for a 'Dad and Lad' team.
The 2006 Coastal Racing Championship returns hovercraft to what is arguably their true environment - sand bars, tidal estuaries and mudflats - just what this exhilarating machine was designed for!
The Flying Fish Team have been stalwart supporters of Coastal Racing since 1998. The company's F25 and Marlin are the product of many years development within this coastal environment - and both are eligible for the F35 category. The Marlin, especially, is very competitive with many previous successes, whilst being the consumate small cruiser is ideal as a family toy!
