Absolutely unique for its class, the Marlin is the only single-engined four-stroke powered, 2 Seat Sports-Utility craft available in the United Kingdom.

Designed from the outset to provide an exciting, safe and exhilarating hovercraft, the Marlin achieves all this and more. Easily achieving 40mph over land or water, there is simply nothing like it available. The design goal was to produce a light hovercraft that fulfils specific criteria.

• A safe, reliable craft suitable for a variety of uses.
• It must be the quietest 2 seat craft available. Less than 85dBa at 25 metres.
• Professional finish, good looks. Your friends must want one too!
• Easy to trailer, load and unload.

The team at Flying Fish Hovercraft have over 20 years experience in all aspects of light hovercraft design including national championship wins at UK National level. The Marlin completed literally thousands of hours of development - successfully completing five 500 mile Rhone Raids, numerous UK cruising and endurance events and winning coastal races during 2004 / 2005.

Therein lays the unmatched experience that led the team to discontinue earlier 2-stroke powered craft - the use of environmentally friendly, low emission 4-stroke is becoming necessary in many sports previously dominated by 2-strokes - Microlighting and Snowmobiling being two obvious examples of how environmental pressure is changing the face of motorised sport. Four stroke craft are likely to welcomed at many more venues than 2-strokes are.
